Broadband Services

Although we are not a broadband supplier, we are familiar with their products and will set up your equipment to work on broadband. We can get your PC connected to your broadband router (wired or wirelessly) and set up your machine to surf the internet safely. We can perform an installation for virtually any ISP (e.g. BT, Virgin Media, Telewest, Orange, Sky, Freeserve, Wanadoo, TalkTalk ...)

What's included in the standard price;

Unbox and install router.
Fit your microfilters to devices on the phone line.
Connect router to one computer either wired or wirelessely.
Check virus / firewall protection on the computer.
Configure internet browser and email.

We can perform the following at the same time but these services would be chargeable;

PC Repair work.
PC Healthchecks.
Virus / spyware removal.
Broadband booster service (discounted).
Connecting additional computers / printers.

We don't publish recommendations for the best broadband suppliers as the best deals are continually changing, however take a look at www.thinkbroadband.com so you can make an informed decision on who to go with.

A lot of the ADSL (broadband) companies advertise up to 8MB and some beyond, but in reality not many people actually get that speed. We may be able to get you closer though.

There are many factors that affect broadband speed and although some of these are down to the length and quality of your phone line, we can resolve a few of the others.

We will use both your own modem and our test equipment to establish what speed you are getting and will attempt to improve the speed. And if we don't manage to increase the speed at all then you don't pay a penny.
